BIOGRAFIA
Con il grado di maggiore comanda lo Squadrone 223 dell'Aviazione durante la Seconda guerra mondiale nel Pacifico. E' tra i primi a utilizzare i Grumman F7F Tigercat, caccia bimotori prodotti negli anni 40 dall'azienda aeronautica statunitense Gurmman, utili come caccia notturni e ricognitori, impiegati soprattutto nella guerra di Corea. A Okinawa comanderÓ il Marine Night Fighter 553.
